Shuttleworth College is one of the country’s leading land based colleges with a commitment to both individual learning and industry proficiency. In August 2009 Shuttleworth College became part of Bedford College to deliver the widest range of courses in the county.
We offer an extensive range of courses aimed at helping participants achieve vital skills important to those working in the land-based sector. We offer courses in Chainsaw & Related Operation, Horticulture, and Pesticide Application amongst others. Our highly qualified instructors deliver carefully tailored courses for private organisations and the public sector making it possible for companies and individuals to go on meeting the industry’s legislative requirements and also keep their skills up to the highest standards. While most courses have a hands-on approach some also include sector legislation and health and safety to give employees a real grounding in the skills required by the industry. We also offer bespoke training so should you not find the course you need we can design a course from scratch around your individual business needs.
