Information for Trainees
To build a successful future for farming and rural
communities, the region needs leaders who are able to champion the
needs and successes of their businesses or local area. The training
courses in this sector aim to shape “farmers of the future”.
You may be an aspiring young farmer who needs some
practical skills in public speaking or decision making in order to
become an effective leader. The skills training we offer can boost
your self confidence and enable you to deal with prominent public
roles, engage with the media and represent local communities at higher
levels and produce policy statements. The training enables you to
develop your personal and professional talents to lead the way to the
future and take on increased responsibility.

Eastern region. All courses are part funded through
LandSkills East,
the remaining costs may be covered by employers, other organisations,
or by the trainee themselves. Any questions about the cost of training
