New Entrants & Leadership
Training Aims
The New Entrants and Leadership Skills Group has been
established with the support of eminent farmers, and others associated
with the industry. They will oversee the delivery of training in their
skills area and support the training providers to ensure that they
have an up-to-date view of the industry and its needs.
It is our goal to assist the development of farmers of
the future by including programmes to build the confidence of young
farmers and other new entrants as well as grow their business
management skills. Our training courses will teach participants the
enhanced decision making skills and leadership development to become
successful agribusiness managers and community leaders. Training will
also focus on the development of leading farmers to ensure that they
have the skills to champion farming.
