B+E Trailer Towing
To teach trainees to safely hitch up and tow a trailer over 750kg behind a road going vehicle, in preparation for a B+E driving test.
The course covers static hitching and unhitching, safety checks and roadworthiness checks.
Off road Manoevers including left and right reverse and the S shaped reverse used in the test.
On road training including dual carridgeway driving, and general roadcraft.
At the end of one - two days training, trainees should be ready to attempt a DSA B+E driving test.
One day course will be limited to one trainee on a one to one basis with an instructor. A two day course is offered if you have two trainees using the same vehicle and trailer.
