Spray operator’s agronomy group
The spray operators agronomy course will equip you spray operators as follows:
• ATo increase your spray operator’s agronomy knowledge, making them more aware of why key crop protection decisions are made.
• It will make them more aware of why the various inputs are used and the importance of correct timing, product choice and application techniques.
• They will be kept well informed, keeping them up to date with new thinking and scientific developments and legal requirements.
• This session will be looking specifically at Growth regulator programme for cereals, OSR fungicides, fire brigade grass weed control, identification of grass weeds, new chemistry, product choice, disease identification for various crops, fungicide programme, growth stage indentication and fertiliser requirements
