Information for Trainees
These courses will cover all aspects of arable farming
and horticultural production at managerial levels by various providers
in the region.
The objectives of these training courses are to develop
a greater understanding of the skills and techniques required to
successfully manage your business in an ever increasingly competitive
market. The courses will cover a range of disciplined subjects
including budgeting and forecasting to help to improve your business
targets and overall efficiency by improving your energy and waste
levels.
More specifically there are courses that will be
focused on all sectors of soil management and water efficiency and the
innovation in irrigation and the development of water management and
investment plans which includes research into new systems and
techniques.
You may be working in the arable or horticulture
business as a supervisor or junior manager with a desire to improve
your knowledge of business development or an owner-manager who would
like to improve efficiency and learn about the latest environmental
controls and legislation.
